Email marketing for rentals suffers from a specific problem: holiday inboxes are where promotional mail goes to die, and a message about next summer sent in February competes with everything else somebody is ignoring.
SMS behaves differently. It is read almost immediately, which makes it effective and easy to abuse — the same qualities that mean a badly judged campaign costs you a guest permanently.
Connecting Omnisend lets both run from the same guest data, so a returning-guest campaign can use email for the long message and SMS for the short time-sensitive one without maintaining two lists.
Consent matters more here than with email alone. SMS marketing rules are stricter in most jurisdictions and enforcement is more aggressive, so the guest data you use has to come with permission that covers texting, not merely a phone number you happen to hold.

Setup
Omnisend connects through OAuth, so ProhostAI never sees your password.
Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.
Search for Omnisend and select Connect.
Sign in to Omnisend and approve the permissions.
Ask how a recent campaign performed to confirm it works.

SMS consent rules are stricter than email in most jurisdictions, and holding a phone number is not permission to text it.
SMS is read immediately, which cuts both ways — a mistimed campaign is remembered.
Omnisend stays the system of record for contacts, consent and sends.
Revoking ProhostAI in Omnisend’s settings ends access immediately.

Only with consent that specifically covers SMS marketing. Rules are stricter than for email in most jurisdictions and enforcement is more aggressive.
Is SMS better than email for rentals?
For short, time-sensitive messages it performs far better because it is read immediately. That same property makes a badly judged send costly.
Do I need two separate lists?
No — that is the reason to use Omnisend rather than separate tools. Both channels run from the same contact data.
Where does the guest data come from?
From guests who actually stayed, so segments reflect real bookings rather than a generic import.
How do I disconnect Omnisend?
Open Settings → Connections in ProhostAI and disconnect it, or revoke it in your Omnisend settings.
